Voice Overs & Music
Making audio demos accessible to your clients is an essential part of the process. They will be able to choose a voiceover and music that suits their taste and branding. To make the process easy for you and your clients, we have three methods, send them to a link, embed the entire audio library or upload the audio to your server and code it into your website.
Embed the Audio Library (recommended)
You can send your clients to the library on our website or embed the audio section into your website using the iframe code.
With scroll bars
Without scroll bars
You can easily embed our entire audio library using the embed code and you can tweak the parameters to suit your requirements, such as height and width. Width is currently at 100% but you can change that to a fixed width if you prefer, for example 500px
This will mean that our demos will be pulled through to your website seamlessly.
Embed Individual audio sections
This option provides links to individual demo sections only. There is no additional text or navigation elements unlike the other embed options we have provided. This is so that you can create several pages with your own text around the demos. This is better for SEO and means that you use your own font styles and colours around the audio demos. Also, you may not need certain demos that are available in the whole audio library. For example, if you are a UK based company you may choose not to use the US voice overs.

Link to the Audio Library
Alternatively, you can just send them to our website via a link. There will be no header / logo in the page. Also, there is no way for them to work with us directly and no identifying features of the website in order to maintain our anonymity and your status as our reseller. Simply make the url you choose open a new window from your website.
- Here is the direct link to the library with scroll bars > (opens in new window)
- Here is the direct link to the library without scroll bars > (opens in new window)
Upload to your server
We are always adding to our voice overs / music and occasionally remove voice overs, so the best way to provide voice over demos to your clients is to use our embed code and display the voice overs on your website.
However, if you wish, you can upload all of our demos to your website and display them as you see fit. You will have to amend your code as changes occur in the voice and music sections. Sometimes we add new audio / remove unwanted audio. If this is your preferred method please email us at
Important note on copyrights
The music we use is clear of PRS, ASCAP, BMI or any other royalty collection societies. This means that you / your client only ever pay once for using this audio. We have pre-licensed the music for use in your on hold production, this means there is no extra fee for using it, however, we do have to provide it mixed with voice over. The music license we have means we can’t provide it as music only. If your client does want it as music only they will need to pay extra to cover the music license.
We are happy to mix music provided by you or your client but you or your client must organise and pay the relevant licenses.

Understanding pricing
Our pricing structure is very simple. It is based on the number of words in the package and whether there is music mixed with the voice over. The fee is a one-time fee and covers SMEs.
We reserve the right to charge more for large businesses and household brands. To avoid potential issues with the voice over in the future we pay them a large company premium as a one-time payment.
The simplest way you can use these packages is by adding your own margin / markup on top of the package price. However, you are welcome to charge however you see fit.
The price is based on the total number of words in your script whether, it is just a single on hold message, an IVR, out of hours message or all 3. It is the word count that determines the cost, not the number of messages.
You can use our pricing tables with embed code or create your own. See the page for the pricing tables. Please Note: The price tables are what we charge you. You need to charge more. Also, we have to charge UK VAT if you are in the UK/EU. This won’t be a problem if you are VAT registered but if you are not you will need to factor this into your prices.
Getting familiar with the process
- Put the demos on your website so your clients can choose a preferred voice and music track.
- Provide quotes by using the trade prices we have provided (plus your margin). Simply ask for their script (unless you are writing it for them) and do a word count. Alternatively send the script to us and we will advise you on the costs so that you can provide a quote for your client
- Take your clients order
- Place your order with us and we ask you for a ready-to-record script, choice of voice and music
- We deal with the whole process and email you if we need any clarification. We can also email your client if you prefer.
- Receive the audio within 3-5 working days
- Install it on your / your client’s telephone system
To make this run smoothly we need: –
- Your clients ready-to-record script, including phonetic spelling of hard to pronounce words
- Their choice of voice over
- Their music choice
We will charge you based on the word count and inform you of the costs before we start. Depending on your account, you will have to pay first to place the order.
Once we have everything, we will have a quick glance over the script for obvious errors before booking the recording session with the voice over and then scheduling the editing / production time.
We aim to have the audio with you as a download within 3-5 working days.
At this point everything should be ready to install on your system. However, we can tweak audio should volumes be wrong (some systems seem louder than others) and can also provide any formats that you require.
Any mistakes made by us or the voice over are corrected by us at no additional cost, however, if your client re-writes their script and recording has taken place we may have to charge a small re-record fee. This is the reason the script needs to be carefully proof read. We will mention anything that looks obvious but it is primarily your client who has to sign-off on the ready-to-record script.

FAQs
How long does it take?
Once you (or your client) has sent us a ready-to-record script, choice of voice over and background music we will get the recording session booked in with our voice over, and then schedule the audio editing and production.
We aim to be sending the finished audio via Dropbox in 3 working days but always state 3-5 working days to allow for any delays. If there is an unforeseen delay beyond that time-frame we will let you know as soon as possible.
What if the voice over makes a mistake?
If it is our fault, we will fix it at no charge. However, if there are changes needed to the script because the client changes their mind we would have to pay the voice over for a re-record. This is why we recommend that your client fully checks the content of the script before declaring it ready to record.
We use our voice over samples as the benchmark, so if they are having an off day and sound nothing like their demo, we do not charge for a re-record. We are reluctant to charge re-record fees but sometimes if a client did not read their script properly or want changes we have to charge a nominal fee. See re-record fees
What if the music does not work?
This is rarely the case, however, we don’t mind swapping out the music if the client truly hates it. There is no extra cost for one switch, we would prefer them to love the music in their on hold.
Can I send my client to you?
Yes. This is fine, we will not give any pricing details or any information about our company to your client. They will simply have an email address and first name contact. By doing this we will work with your client, complete their audio, email them directly when it is ready and deal with any feedback they have. The alternative is that you deal with us and pass any feedback between both parties.
What if my client starts asking questions about the service that I am not sure about?
This is fine, just tell them that you will check with your audio team. Email us and we will answer the question for you. In fact, we are happy to suggest stock answers and stock website content too. Just get in touch, it is mutually beneficial and important that you have all of the information that you and your clients need.
What happens if my client finds this website?
Nothing really. Any sensitive information (such as this) is all password protected and only visible to you. If they come to our website they will not find any information about us or our company. We don’t publicly say what we actually do. For all they know, this could be your website and part of your online infrastructure and us part of your team. We encourage you to see us as your audio team.
Can I use my own music and save money?
You can use your own music but it does not save money. You still need to order the voice & music package if you want us to mix music with your voice over. Our music is already licensed and paid for and therefore it does not add to the cost. The difference in price between the voice only packages and voice with music package is due to the additional editing / mixing time involved and not the music cost.
If you do use your own music you are responsible for making sure it is correctly licensed.
What about other languages?
We can source voices for you but there may be an additional costs for this service.
